This paper was written to discuss how cybercrime investigators depend on social science principles to address different challenges posed by cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats and how they protect marginalized groups from harm. The paper is relevant to my interdisciplinary skills by directly connecting my knowledge in various different sectors like criminology, cybersecurity, & social sciences. It helped me understand how technical knowledge can connect with sociological insights.
